3 months already!

Notice her hair cut? Just a trim though!  :)
See! I'm getting big and strong!!!

Well, today marks 3 months since Zoey became a phyical member of our family! 3 months since we held her for the first time! Sometimes it seems like yesterday and sometimes it seems like we have had her forever! Adjustment is coming along. We still have issues to deal with, but for the most part she knows mommy and daddy. She know brothers and sister. She sleeps through the night and now does so no matter who puts her to sleep and without any crying! This happened over Christmas! YAY! So here are some things she's doing and just how she is.
1. She smiles alot! She loves to laugh and have fun. She has her own little smile she made up, as you can see in the pictures! It's soo funny!
2.  She says about 25 English words and still says some things in Chinese. It's really funny because she says it sooo fast! She still doesn't ask for much in English. She says Cup, night-night, love you, bye-bye, My mommy, "liah, come eat!" (olivia, time to eat and it's HILAROUS!!) bath and baby on her own without us telling her what to say. She can say anything, but it'usually with prompting. AND MICKEY MOUSE!!!
3. Her fits are only 2-3 min as opposed to the 25-30 when she came home and for the first month and a half.
4. She loves to eat but doesn't and hasn't gorged. When she is full, she is finally holding her arms up (and NOT dumping the plate) and saying, "All gone" or "All done!" Oh yeah, thats another non-prompted words! HA
5. She LOVES to give love! When Anthony walks in from work, Olivia has always done this so I guess that's where she gets it from, she RUNS to him with arms up saying, "DADDY" and hugs his legs so tight. Most of the time Anthony picks her up and she just hugs him so tight! She gives me morning love every morning and that's when she says, "My momma!" (Yes, it melts your heart!)
6. SHe has stayed in the nursery at church since 2 wks home. I didn't do that with Olivia bc she was NOT having that, but I guess bc she was at the home with all the other kids, she's perfectly fine! There is a TV in there so she can see the back of my head (and the front when I'm singing) and daddy when he's preaching, so I guess that kinda helps a little! But she loves the nursery!
7. She LOVES to get dressed! No matter what, she wants to get dressed several times a day! Olivia and her have this new thing where they play dress-up with regular clothes and dress-up clothes and try on EVERYTHING in the dresser and ALL the shoes! yes, it makes a mess but hey! I'll just get them to help clean it up later!!
8. She "zerberts" our bellies alot! She thinks that's funny!!
9. She can use a fork and a spoon. She can even eat cereral without spilling it everywhere! AMAZING!
10. She is LOUD!!! REALLY LOUD! Doctor says she doesn't have enough wax for it to be for that reason, so...we just have to come to the realization that she's LOUD!!!!!
11. She's only had one ear infection. But she's getting her 2 yr. molars so her ears have been hurting with that. But other than that, she's great! She weighs 27.4 pds and is 34 inches tall. Doctor said that she is tall for her age and it's good because  if not, she would be a roly poly! HAHAHA She is in 24 mths, 2T and size 5-5.5 shoes! So..she's getting big!
12. She MOANS! ALLLLLL THE TIME!!! ANyone who knows me knows I can't stand that! We are trying to teach her to use her words but it's not helping! I knows it's from not knowing the words but it's soo aggravating!
13. Anthony has broke her of being scared of things like being lifted in the air to touch the ceiling and just playing like Anthony did with the boys and Olivia, but she still has "issues" with some of it. She is very scared  of alot of things! But, she will learn.
14. She FINALLY likes baths. Now she hates getting out bc it's cold! She turns purple on her lips and arms just like Olivia did!
15. She is VERY smart! She doesn't say ALL the letters but knows the song to ABC and hums it and almost all the letters. She's trying to count to 10. She can put several puzzles together by herself. She can sing parts of a song after hearing them once and it's ON TUNE!! She understands us...every word..and does what we tell her to do. She remembers where things went and puts it back when we are cleaning (all while she sings the clean up song off of Barney!!) She can also point out ppl in pictures after basically 2 times of meeting them.
16. She is ROUGH! She does NOT sit still for long unless she's asleep! She has stopped the hitting, thank goodness, almost completely. That was a HUGE problem at first! Glad it's stopped!
17. She still prefers women, but alot of men are getting her attention! We have a "special needs" man at our church that is 73 and she LOVES him! Lets him hold her and everything. It's SO sweet! And he loves that she lets him hold her!!
18. She's still a mommy's girl all the way! She loves everyone else, but she prefers mom. It's getting better but it's been pretty rough. She wouldn't let herself be out of the room that I was in until like 2 wks ago. It was bad, but it's getting better.
19. She loves being outside just like Olivia. This summer should be fun!
20. She's great! She's a blessing to our family and we are so glad she's here. We still have a long road to go, but it's only been 3 months...she's doing amazing! We love her so much and can't wait to watch her blossom into a bigger girl. Her birthday is Feb 16th and she will be 2! I can't wait to see her at her first bday party. I think we are doing Mickey Mouse! :)

We love you Zoey Fei-Fei Li-Li!! So glad you are part of our family and our daughter!!!
