1.It's the LAST 1st Mother's day for me.
2. I also had all 5 of my blessings with me today!
I didn't think I would do it, but I did it again. For some reason, the night before Mother's Day (maybe becasue it's already Mother's Day in China) I go to my girls and say a prayer. Mostly it's a prayer that I say asking God to whisper in the girls "birth mothers" ears that she is safe, loved, adopted and happy! I want them to know big they are, how beautiful they are and how thankful we are to have them laying in the bed that I am praying over them in. Thanking them for not aborting them and giving them a chance to have a life, even though it's not with them. Thanking them for putting them in spots that they were EASILY found and found pretty quickly. All the while, balling my eyes out!
My boys are very special to me, and I love them just as much as my girls and I'm so blessed to have such smart, handsome, giving, loving and God-filled children! Their story I know. Their stories are put into a photo album (or albums) from in my stomach to now. So, although they are very important and I love them with all my heart, my heart goes to the birth mother of my girls! There's just nothing I can do to thank their mother's for giving me my girls, for completing my family and making it so amazing!
I thank my God everyday for all 5 of my kids! They are a blessing. I am busy, tired, run to death, answering questions ALL DAY, changing diapers, washing clothes, playing outside, playing dolls and trains, reading and teaching and of course cooking all the time, but I wouldn't take anything for it. I LOVE being a mommy! It's the best job ever! I don't like phases that are so hard to get through, but when they are done, I appreciate seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. The different side of them all. They are all so special in many different ways, but one thing is the same...they all have my heart! Thank you, God, for my 5 blessings!
